In this study, Myron Harrison describes the partnership relationship between the Association of Bible Churches of the Philippines, SEND-International and OMF International (previously the Overseas Missionary Fellowship) and concludes that this partnership has been good and should continue for continued productivity in church planting. He describes the team concept and parish church concept and presents them as viable vehicles for more fully implementing this effective partnership.
He then describes the key factors which need to be studied by both expatriate and Filipino workers in order to establish a harmonious relationship. These are recognition of the Filipino church and its leadership, cultural distinctives, spiritual dynamics, preparation of team members, expatriate adaptability, and expatriate sensitivity to socio-economic problems.
Finally, he makes specific recommendations which hopefully will enable the three organisations to move forward in partnership on the local level of ministry in church planting an development.
