Medical Missionaries in China Inland Mission (CHI) 長江杏林-來華八醫師
During the 85 years of CIM ministry in China, 106 medical men and women served as well as preached. They surrendered their abilities, skills, and even lives at the foot of the cross. Despite its far reaching impact, the medical work of the CIM was never highly publicized. OMF General Director Dr Patrick Fung examines eight key medical figures – pioneers who went to places where often no other hospitals were in sight within hundreds of miles – bringing to light their lives and stories for the current generation of Christian professionals: James Hudson Taylor, Arthur William Douthwaite, R. Harold A. Schofield, Frederick Howard Taylor, George Edwin King, Jessie McDonald, Alfred James Broomhall, Rupert M. Clarke.
